You can contact a volunteer by clicking their email address or the email icon whenever you see them, the same is true for SMS texting them by clicking their mobile number or the mobile phone icon.
In addition you can contact groups of volunteers by searching for them on the [ADMIN MENU] VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT > FIND VOLUNTEERS page and then selecting all or a subset using the check boxes on the search page and then selecting the email or SMS text actions at the bottom of the search results.
Email or SMS Text a single volunteer
If you need to send an email or SMS text to a single volunteer follow the steps below:
1. Go to [ADMIN MENU] VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT > FIND VOLUNTEERS
2. Search for the volunteer.
3. Click on either the email or SMS text buttons next to the volunteer
4. Type your message and click send.
Email or SMS Text multiple volunteers
You can use the same method to send an email or text message to multiple volunteers by following the steps below:
1. Go to [ADMIN MENU] VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT > FIND VOLUNTEERS
2. Select the volunteers you want to send an email or SMS text to.
3. Click on the Email Selected or Text Selected buttons.
4. Type your message and click ‘Send’.
