How to make a volunteer Inactive
You can make a volunteer inactive by going to the FIND VOLUNTEERS page:
[ADMIN MENU] Volunteer Management > Find Volunteers
Then search for the volunteer and click on the check box on the right hand side.
At the bottom of the screen you can change the volunteers status to INACTIVE
What does this do?
By making a volunteer INACTIVE they can do everything (login, log hours, change their profile etc.), but they cant join any new opportunities and they wont receive generic emails.
When should I make a volunteer inactive?
-If the volunteer goes travelling and does not want to be contacted whilst away.
-Volunteer has been inactive for a long time (this is optional)
-Volunteer is being investigated following a complaint
