You can setup automated SMS Text reminders which text all volunteers at 12:00 the day before every session. This is an excellent way to drive up your attendance rate for opportunities and helps put volunteers at ease so they are confident that the session will take place.
You can turn on the automated messages by following the steps below:
- Login as Super Admin
- Goto SETTINGS > OPTIONS
- Within the TEXT ENGINE SETTINGS section, change the AUTO SMS TEXT REMINDER option to YES
- Click on the UPDATE button to save the change.
Note: This options can potentially use quite a few text messages, so make sure that you have enough on your system. You can see how many text messages you have left at the bottom of the page at the bottom of the SETTINGS > OPTIONS page.
