Providers need to be set to ACTIVE before they can login to the system or any of their opportunities will be live on the system, they are limited to only having the ability to create an opportunity.
If you want providers to automatically be activated on the system then you must go to SETTINGS > OPTIONS screen and change the AUTO ACTIVATE PROVIDERS option to YES.
If this is set to YES then the providers will automatically be activated on the system and will be able to login update their details.
If the AUTO ACTIVATE PROVIDERS option is set to NO then you must activate the provider manually by:
- Going to OPPORTUNITIES & PROVIDERS > PROVIDERS
- Searching for the provider
- Click on the EDIT button next to the provider
- Clicking on the ACTIVATE button.
You can see which providers need to be activated on your dashboard under the section labelled PROVIDERS THAT REQUIRE ACTIVATING.
You can change a provider from active to non-active at any time to prevent the provider from logging in.
